This Pheonix Oyster Spwan Plug contains Phoenix Oyster (Pleurotus pulmonarius) spawn which grows a nutritious mushroom that produces thick shelf-like mushrooms with a firm texture and delicious flavor.

This is a great outdoor mushroom for growers with spare wood. And in particular thrives on many species of wood including SPRUCE (Which we have lots after hurricane Fionna the past year). Instructions included will explain the best practices to start growing these mushrooms as well as best wood compatibility. They are a fast and aggressive growing mushrooms and should produce for many years.

Note: Aside from being kiln dried, our wooden dowels are not treated in any other way.
